Telugu Cinema After a Long Hiatus: Rahman’s Open Talk

Despite being busy in various languages like Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi, it has been a long time since A.R. Rahman signed on for a direct Telugu film. Speaking about this at the event, he said:
“Many people ask me why I am composing music for a direct Telugu film after such a long gap. The main reason for that is the story of this film and director Buchi Babu’s extraordinary hard work,” he praised wholeheartedly.
Highly praising director Buchi Babu’s hard work on stage, A.R. Rahman also spoke hilariously about the positive pressure the director put on him.
Rahman was greatly impressed by the way Buchi Babu sculpted the story and his passion for getting the right music. When Rahman jokingly mentioned on stage, “Buchi Babu chased me down to get work done,” the entire auditorium burst into laughter.
The Mumbai event took on a festive look due to the presence of celebrities and the grand arrangements. The film’s trailer has already received a massive response from fans, raising expectations for the movie multi-fold.
There is no doubt that A.R. Rahman’s soulful music and Buchi Babu’s direction will combine to make the movie “Peddi” a major milestone in Indian cinema!
