Hopes are high for Dayanidhi Alagiri as the young producer firmly believes that his ‘Thamizh Padam’ would be well received by the audience.
Speaking to reporters in Chennai Thursday, he said: “Directed by C S Amudhan, the movie is a spoof on Tamil films. However we are not intended to hurt anyone and we respect veterans of cinema.”
Dayanidhi, whose first venture is the Suriya starrer ‘Varanam Aayiram’, added: “I am happy to produce ?Thamizh Padam?. Amudhan is a talented ad-filmmaker and he would prove himself in movies too. We are planning to release the film in January.”
On his part, Amudhan said, “Hero of the movie Siva has imitated many top actors of Tamil film industry in his own way. ‘Venniradai’ Murthy, M S Baskar and Manobala are doing important roles. Cinematography is by Nirav Shah. We all have given our best to the movie.”
