With just hours to go for the curtains to go up on the Deepavali releases, there is a palpable sense of anxiety and expectation in the air both amidst the fans as well as in the industry.
This is one of the leanest (in terms of star value) yet biggest (in terms of number of important releases) Deepavali releases.
Rajini, Kamal, Vijay and Vikram fans maybe disappointed that they have very little to cheer as their stars are conspicuous by their absence at the box office.
But the general fans are of course not complaining.
For they have seven big movies to choose from and all of them have been censored.
Among them, Dharmapuri, E, Thalaimagan and Vattaram have walked away with a clean ?U? certificate.
Varalaru, Vallavan, Vathiyar have got UA certificate.
All the seven big releases, and two small ones, are carrying good reports.
All of them have some kind of unique attraction.
