Vintage car rally is something Chennai has seen quite often over the years, with a rich display of cars over the period. The car roll out if studied can show the era from when it has come from, and quite recently at a Premier Padmini car rally the vehicle that featured in the movie Panniyarum Padminiyum was also spotted.
Flagged off by Vijay Sethupathy, there were a total of 50 other similar cars at the event, where producer and others from the movie were also present. The event took place at Old Madras road last Wednesday much to everyone?s excitement.
The movie is actually woven from a short film from the same director; it revolves about an old man and his incredible love for the car. Vijay Sethupathy plays the chauffeur in the movie.
