Riding bicycles is not only for children. Even adults could. Even those who could afford automotives that cause pollution can decide to take a ‘bicycle’ ride now and then. In order to drive home this point in addition to the obvious health benefits, a firm has decided to pay its employees Rs.470 day if they come to work by cycle.
New Zealand based advertising firm Make Collective has come out with this unique encouragement to its employment to ‘energise’ its staff. The company initially offers NZ $5 a day which will be increased to NZ$10(roughly amounting to Rs.470 ) after six months. The company’s Managing director has stated that the extra money money is coming staright out of the firm’s business profits.
Indian companies please take note too, please. ( Oh, traffic woes?)
