Both ‘Bimbisara’ and ‘Sita Ramam’ ran to packed houses in the Telugu States on August 5. The first weekend collections are expected to be fabulous. The Telugu film industry’s sagging hopes have been revived by the immense response from the audience. Star heroes, producers and directors are gloating about the same, some of them on social media.
Megastar Chiranjeevi today took to Twitter to laud the teams of the Friday releases. “We are witnessing these two hits at a time when we were feeling sad that audiences had stopped coming to theatres. ‘Sita Ramam’ and ‘Bimbisara’ have offered us relief. They have proven once again that good content will always be valued,” the ‘Acharya’ actor tweeted.
In his tweet on Saturday, Vijay Deverakonda tweeted, “Extremely happy to hear that two films on the same day have turned into hits. What a good day! Hearing the most amazing and beautiful things about ‘Sita Ramam’.” The ‘Geetha Govindam star also congratulated the team of ‘Bimbisara’, mentioning Nandamuri Kalyan Ram, director Vassishta, producer Hari Krishna K, and MM Keeravani.
