Megastar Chiranjeevi has tested positive for Covid-19 despite taking all precautions. He has been at his residence in Hyderabad, taking treatment for mild symptoms.
“Despite all precautions, I have tested Covid 19 Positive with mild symptoms last night and am quarantining at home. I request all who came in contact with me over the last few days to get tested too. Can’t wait to see you all back soon! (sic),” the ‘Sye Raa’ actor today wrote.
In 2020, Chiru had a false positive coronavirus test. Two days after he said that he had tested positive, the actor came back saying that it was a false positive.
Recently, Chiru condemned the rumour that he was seeking a Rajya Sabha entry with the help of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.
As for ‘Acharya’, co-starring Ram Charan, it will hit the screens on April 1. The film’s promotions will begin sometime in February. It was recently postponed from February 4.
