Chinmayi made the shocking allegation of sexual molestation against Vairamuthu a few months back and has ever since been an advocate for the Me Too movement in Tamil Nadu. She was ousted from the Dubbing Union with the management stating that she had not paid her subscription fee for several months. Chinmayi who is a much sought after dubbing artiste in Tamil cinema saw this as revenge by the dubbing union president Radha Ravi for her expose.
There seems to be a legal breakthrough as Chinmayi has shared “I have been awarded an interim stay order by the Hon’ble Court regarding my ban from the Tamilnadu Dubbing Union. It is a long legal battle ahead. Hope justice will prevail. Thank you.”
