Yesterday, Abbas Akbar the director of ‘Chennai2Singapore’ let out a request to online piracy sites to not leak his movie atleast for thirty days so the film could reap in profits. The video was widely circulated in the web.
The notorious online piracy site Tamil Rockers seems to have taken notice of the request, considerably. Reportedly download links from the home page of the piracy site seems to have been removed. Though the links inside the site might be present still, the chances of getting to it is negligible as much as the links are difficult to remove.
Other pirate sites like Tamilgun, TamilMV also have joined the bandwagon to conform to the director’s request by taking the download links off their sites completely. It is worth mentioning here that ‘Chennai2Singapore’ is being bankrolled by music composer Ghibran.
