Famous producer has been arrested

Prerna Arora, who had produced famous Bollywood movies, including Akshay Kumar’s Padman, was recently arrested by the Mumbai police for alleged fraud of Rs. 16 crore.

Her passports and ATM cards have been seized by the police, according to reports. She will also be remanded in custody till December 10 for further investigation, apparently.

Prerna, who had produced Rustom, Toilet, and Padman, had taken money from multiple investors promising each of them exclusive rights to the same film, according to the officials.
