Bigg Boss Tamil 4 contestant Anitha Sampath's father RC Sampath passed away on Tuesday (December 29). Anitha shared the devastating news on social media and has also posted an emotional note, sharing a picture from her last day with her father.

Opening up about the picture taken prior to her entry in the TV reality show, Anitha said, "This is how I saw my father the last time I was with him. The picture was taken right before my quarantine ahead of Bigg Boss. My father is my life, I came running back home hoping to take him on several tours. You shouldn't have left me, daddy. If you had waited just one day, I would've accompanied you to the hospital myself and you would have stayed with me at least ten more years. I'm sorry I couldn't save you, daddy. This guilt will stay with me forever." (translated from Tamil)

Anitha, who got evicted from Bigg Boss 4 just two days ahead of her father's demise, regretted not being able to spend more time with him. Announcing the news of her dad's death, Anitha had earlier written, "I still can't believe he is no more. When i came home after Bigg boss, he went to Shirdi I didn't even talk to him as his phone was not reachable.. Today 8 am heard this shocking news that he passed away when he was returning Chennai from Shirdi in train near Andhra By tomorrow, he will come to Chennai.. I wish he is alive..I can't believe this.. (sic)."
