On Wednesday there was a news that Vijay TV had lodged a complaint against Madhumitha claiming that she blackmailed the management to pay up her dues failing which she would commit suicide. When we got in touch with the channel officials as well as Madhu both the parties denied any such incident. However, Madhumitha has just called a press meet in which she has confirmed that the channel has indeed filed a complaint against her in the Guindy police station.

Madhumitha further explained that she is at a loss as to why the popular channel took such a step after she had given invoices for her pending payments which they have also agreed to settle with her. She has also clarified that she is still under Vijay TV's agreement and even her treatment is through their doctors and wants to make it clear that she did not make any blackmail calls and have not even given any interviews.

Madhumitha has requested 'Bigg Boss 3' host Kamal Haasan and the organizers to arrive at an amicable solution to this issue and has categorically stated that the police case against her is of a false nature.
