Bejoy Nambiar’s Action-packed ‘Por’ Teaser Reveals Tensions Between Arjun Das and Kalidas Jayaram

The makers unveiled the teaser of the upcoming film “Por,” featuring Arjun Das and Kalidas Jayaram in the lead roles, on Saturday. Running for almost one-and-a-half minutes, the teaser introduces Arjun and Kalidas as college students caught in a rivalry that escalates into intense conflicts. The ensuing chaos leads to riot-like situations in the vicinity. Towards the teaser’s conclusion, Arjun Das delivers a powerful line, stating, “You have started this war. I am not responsible for what happens after this.”

Directed by Bejoy Nambiar, “Por” is a Hindi-Tamil bilingual. The Hindi version, titled “Dange,” will star Harshvardhan Rane and Ehan Bhatt in the lead roles, supported by Nikita Dutta and TJ Bhanu. TJ Bhanu also features in the Tamil version alongside Sanchana Natarajan. While TJ Bhanu portrays the love interest of Arjun Das, Sanchana plays the romantic partner of Kalidas Jayaram.

Reportedly, the film is positioned as a high-octane action youth drama and was simultaneously shot in Tamil and Hindi. Bejoy Nambiar, known for his work in Hindi films like “Shaitan” (2011), “Wazir” (2016), “Taish” (2020), and the Tamil series “Sweet Kaaram Coffee” (2023), directs the film.
