This week's big attraction in theaters is 'Ghajinikanth' starring Arya and Sayyeshaa which is touted as a laugh riot family film. Though the film is a remake of the Telugu super hit 'Bhale Bhale Magadivoy' starring Nani in the lead the title and Arya's characterizatoin is modelled on Superstar Rajinikanth's role of the absent minded professor in 'Dharmathin Thalaivan'

In 'Dharmathin Thalaivan' Rajini played Balasubramaniam a Tamil proffessor who is so absent minded that he forgets to wear his Dhoti to work. He even enters another person's house thinking its his own and demands the owners to leave. The story revolved around the bonding between Rajini and Prabhu who played his younger brother who is straight opposite in character to his brother. In trying to reform his brother Balasubramaniam loses his life.

Prabhu takes care of his brother's lover played by Suhasini to a different city where to their utmost shock bump into a thief Shankar who is a lookalike of Balu. What happens next is told in a commercially engaging fashion by director S.P. Muthuraman. The film that had music by Ilayaraja als marked the Tamil debut of Khushbu playing Prabhu's love interest.
