'Yatchan' goes to Bollywood

The Vishnuvardhan directed multi-starrer Yatchan` has just released and the reviews are pouring in from various corners. Even before getting a clue of the response from the Tamil audience the makers of the film have decided to take the film to Bollywood.

An official press statement from Disney India the holding company of UTV Motion Pictures says ""We are really happy with Yatchan`, which has already got the audience excited. The story of the movie is language agnostic and it lends itself very well to other audiences across the country. Thus we are really excited about remaking it in Hindi."

The statement also suggests that changes suitable to the pan Indian taste would be made to the content. "Currently, we are working on the plan for the remake, but we are certain that we have a power packed content with us that will be loved by one and all."

Yatchan` is an action comedy film based on a story written by writer duo Suba in a Tamil weekly magazine. The film`s director Vishnuvardhan has also produced it along with the UTV Motion Pictures banner The film`s ensemble cast includes Arya, Kreshna, Deepa Sannidhi, Swathi, Thambi Ramiah, Y.Gee Mahendar and many others. Music has been rendered by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Om Prakash has handled the cinematography.
