Suriya, one of the leading stars of Tamil cinema, is currently busy with a series of massive projects. Exciting updates regarding the current status and release dates of three of his major upcoming films have been revealed.

Karuppu The filming for the movie directed by R.J. Balaji has been fully completed. Post-production work is currently progressing at a rapid pace.The team plans to release the film in theaters in February or March 2026.Featuring the reunion of Suriya and Trisha, this film is expected to be a unique thriller experience.

Suriya 46 A major update has surfaced for the film directed by Venky Atluri. All scenes involving Suriya have been recently wrapped up.Aiming for the summer holidays, the film is scheduled to hit screens in May 2026. With music by G.V. Prakash, the film features Mamitha Baiju as the female lead.

Suriya 47 Suriya’s 47th film is being helmed by Aavesham fame director Jithu Madhavan. Following a grand launch ceremony (pooja), filming for the promotional teaser (promo) is set to begin soon. The movie is expected to be filmed at a high speed and released by the end of 2026. Reports suggest that Suriya will be portraying a powerful police officer in this film.
