Superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is progressing rapidly, and the latest buzz is that Bollywood sensation Nora Fatehi has joined for a major special dance sequence. Reports indicate that the high-voltage song was filmed over an 8-day schedule in Chennai, with Rajinikanth participating. Nora Fatehi herself teased the experience on Instagram, calling it “Truly Epic” and praising the team.

The original Jailer (2023) became a massive blockbuster, grossing over ₹600 crore worldwide, largely boosted by Tamannaah Bhatia’s viral track ‘Kaavaalaa’. The sequel aims to up the ante with Anirudh Ravichander’s music once again, featuring this upbeat, high-energy number choreographed with over 60 dancers. Sources suggest it’s designed to appeal to the pan-Indian audience, especially the Hindi market, given Nora’s track record with chartbusters like ‘Dilbar’, ‘O Saki Saki’, and ‘Kusu Kusu’.

Produced by Sun Pictures, Jailer 2 sees Rajinikanth reprising his iconic role as ‘Tiger’ Muthuvel Pandian. The ensemble cast includes SJ Suryah, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vinayakan, Mirnaa, and Anna Rajan in key roles, with special cameos from Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Nandamuri Balakrishna, and Mithun Chakraborty. Cinematography is by Vijay Karthik Kannan, and editing by R. Nirmal.

Rajinikanth recently confirmed that the film will wrap by June 2026, with a theatrical release slated for June 12, 2026.
