Actor Udhayanidhi Stalin's 'Nimir' directed by acclaimed filmmaker Priyadarshan is getting ready to hit the screens for the Republic Day weekend on January 26, 2017. The film is the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam super hit 'Maheshinte Prathikaram'. 

Darbuka Siva and Ajneesh Loknath have scored music for this film. Now Udhayanidhi has announced that the first single track from the film's album starting as 'Nenjil Mazhai' will be released by none other than Isaipuyal A.R.Rahman. Though the makers have not exactly revealed the name, the silhouette picture in the poster confirms beyond doubt that the Oscar winner will be doing the favor for Udhay and Priyadarshan. 

Rahman has never done music for a Udhay starrer so far and we hope that also will soon happen.
