After being impressed by the story of Ponkumar, AR Murugadoss has come forward to produce the film, and he has roped in Gautham Karthik to play the leading role. A newcomer is expected to play the female lead, and the shooting of the film will be starting soon with a simple puja.

It is noteworthy that AR Murugadoss had already produced the film ‘Rangoon’ with Gautham Karthik in the lead role, which was also directed by his associate Rajkumar Periyasamy.
