Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan has been meeting renowned celebrities in the recent days. A few weeks back, he met Maharashtra Nava Nirman Sena leader Raj Thackarey in Mumbai. On Deepavali day this week he met world renowned Buddhist monk and spiritual leader Dalai Lama. Today the legendary actor has met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandra Babu Naidu.
Not giving room to any speculations and rumors Kamal Haasan has issued a statement about his meeting with the high profile politicians within hours after the meeting.
"This meeting is about the premiere of 'Cheekati Raajyam' in Telugu. I went to seek his permission to have the premiere in Vijayawada and to invite to be among the audience to see our film. He kindly agreed. We are trying to arrange a premiere of 'Cheekati Raajyam' in both Hyderabad and Telangana the same day and am planning to attend both the premiers. The show timings will have a 6 hour gap facilitating travel for the stars."
'Cheekati Raajyam' is the Telugu version of the bilingual directed by Rajesh.M.Selva with Kamal Haasan, Prakash, Raj, Trisha, Kishore, Sampath and many others in lead roles. The film is scheduled to hit the screens in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on November 20.
