'Ammammagarillu', a family entertainer starring Naga Shaurya and Shamili (the child actress-turned-heroine), is currently in the making. Coming with the caption 'Relations never end', it has been written (story, screenplay and dialogues) and directed by Sundar Surya.
The news is that the film's satellite rights have been procured by Gemini TV for a whopping Rs. 2.75 Cr. The producers KR and Rajesh say, "Our flick has acquired craze because of its Telugu nativity and the title. With Gemini TV buying out satellite rights for a high price, expectations from the movie have gone up further. We are also getting plum offers for Hindi rights and Overseas rights. We are hopeful that 'Ammammagarillu' will rake in the best openings in Shaurya's career."
Naga Shourya says, "Our movie highlights the importance of familial bonding, emotions, etc." This is Shamili's comeback film. "After 'Oye', I didn't do any other movie as no story really impressed me." Rao Ramesh, Posani, Suman, Shivaji Raja, Shakalaka Shankar, Sumitra and Sudha are part of the cast.
Kalyana Ramana is its music director. Sirivennela Sitarama Sastry and Bhaskarabhatla are penning the lyrics. Rasool Ellore is the cinematographer. JP is the editor.
