Kollywood director KV Anand today passed away due to a massive heart attack. The 54-year-old filmmaker was known for ‘Ko’, ‘Maattrraan’ and ‘Kaappaan’, among others.
Allu Arjun was one of the first Telugu film celebs to condole Anand’s death. He wrote, “Just woke up to this sad news that Dir KV Anand garu is no more. Wonderful cameraman , brilliant director and very nice gentleman. Sir you will always be remember & missed. Condolences to the near, dear & family.”
Kajal Aggarwal described Anand as a legendary director and said that she has the privilege of working with him. Superstar Rajinikanth put out a Tamil-language statement remembring him.
A journalist-friend of the departed soul revealed that Anand was planning to meet Dulquer Salmaan to team up for a Tamil-language film.
KV Anand famously bagged the National Award for ‘Thenmavin Kombathu’ (Malayalam) as a cinematographer.
