In a shocking news, 257 people have been killed when a military airplane crashed near an airbase out of Algerian capital on Wednesday. The plane’s passengers consisted of 10 crew members and 247 armed forces personnel and their families.
The aircraft is identified as Russian Ilyushin II-76 which crashed about 25 kms away from Algiers. Reportedly, the aircraft was headed towards Tindouf, border of Algeria. Pertaining to this, the Algerian defence ministry have also issued a statement condoling the bereaved relatives and family members of the deceased.
