Ajith Kumar’s Film: Overseas Review Highlights the Good Bad Ugly

Good Bad Ugly Overseas Review: The Tamil action drama Good Bad Ugly, starring Ajith Kumar, premiered in theaters globally on April 10, 2025. Directed and written by Adhik Ravichandran, the film marks the Tamil debut production of Mythri Movie Makers and is presented by T-Series. Initially teased in 2023 under the working title AK63 (Ajith’s 63rd film), the title was officially confirmed in March 2024.

Principal shooting began in May 2024 in Hyderabad and also took place in Spain, wrapping up by December. The film was shot in both standard and EPIQ formats. Music is composed by G.V. Prakash Kumar, with cinematography by Abinandhan Ramanujam and editing by Vijay Velukutty.

Ajith Kumar plays AK, a former crime boss who gets pulled back into the underworld after his son is kidnapped, setting the stage for an intense action-packed narrative. Overseas screenings have commenced, and international audiences are beginning to share their thoughts on social media.

The ensemble cast includes Trisha Krishnan, Usha Uthup, Rahul Dev, Kingsley, Roadies Raghu, Pradeep Kabra, Yogi Babu, Jackie Shroff, and many others. The film boasts an extensive technical crew including stunt coordinators Supreme Sundar and Kaloian Vodenicharov, music supervisor Jehovahson Alghar, and VFX lead Narendra Logisa. Production design was handled by G.M. Sekhar, styling by Anu Vardhan and Rajesh Kamarsu, and publicity by ADFX Studio.

Post-production support came from Annapurna Studios and editor Vijay Velukutty, who also crafted the trailer. Direction and editing teams were led by skilled professionals including Ravi Kandasamy, Harish Manikandan, and S.A. Nagarjun among others.
