Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran’s highly awaited film, L2: Empuraan, is set for a massive worldwide release on March 27, 2025. The film will be available in five languages—Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada.
Breaking records in Malayalam cinema, the movie has achieved phenomenal advance bookings, surpassing Rs 35 crore for the opening day and Rs 50 crore for its first weekend globally.
Interestingly, the Telugu version is witnessing growing interest. Though initial bookings were moderate, ticket sales are now surging, indicating a strong opening in Telugu states as well.
The excitement around L2: Empuraan is fueled by its breathtaking visuals and aggressive promotions led by Prithviraj Sukumaran. The film’s Telugu distribution is handled by Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations (SVC).
Starring Mohanlal in the lead role, the film also features Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, and Abhimanyu Singh in key roles. With record pre-sales and high anticipation, the movie is expected to have a blockbuster opening.
