‘Darbar’ actress gets married after living together for one year

Superstar Rajinikanth’s 2020 hit movie ‘Darbar’ directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions had its story set in Mumbai and had many Bollywood actors on board including Suniel Shetty.  Actress Shamata Anchan played a prominent role as a police inspector who helps Rajini’s character and she appeared for more than forty minutes with the legendary actor.

Shamata Anchan got married to her beau Gaurav Verma on February 8th in a private ceremony and only close friends and family were present.  On the eve of Valentine’s Day the actress who has also starred in Ashutosh Gowariker’s ‘Everest’ as main lead has opened up about her wedding on social media.

Shamata Anchan has shared photos of her and Gaurav Verma at their wedding and has said “After a year of being together, we knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other. I’m in a really happy space personally and professionally and the new year has started on a beautiful note.”
