Actress Samantha has been making headlines for the past couple of months as reports emerged on a day-to-day basis regarding the storm in her personal life. The couple put an end to all speculations on Saturday by coming clean that they have indeed decided to split just six days before their fourth wedding anniversary.

It is now said that Sam and Chay will file a mutual consent divorce petition in the court and amicably part ways. Both have mentioned in their statements that they value theirs over a decade friendship which will continue.

Meanwhile it has been reported in Tollywood that the Nagarjuna Akkineni family offered rupees 200 Crores as alimony to Samantha. The sources say that Sam rejected the offer and told the family that she does not want any financial compensation from the failed marriage. It said that she has also decided to pay back Naga Chaitanya's share in the Hyderabad house that they bought together as she wants to continue to stay in it.

Friends of Samantha have hailed her decision and fans are also expressing admiration to the self-made actress who grew to her current superstar status from umble beginnings in Chennai.
