Actress Anandhi whose real name is Rakshitha made her acting debut in Telugu cinema but gained fame in 'Kayal' her first film in Tamil directed by Prabhu Solomon. She has since featured in mostly critically acclaimed films such as 'Pariyerum Perumal', 'Irandaam Ulagaporin Kadaisi Gundu' and currently has 'Angel' and 'Ravana Koottam' in her kitty.

Anandhi got married to Socrates at the Kodam Convention Center in Warangal in Telangana state on Thursday January 7th at 8pm. Details of Anandhi's husband Socrates has emerged and he is actually the brother in law of director Naveen and has also served as his associate director i several films including the upcoming 'Agni Siragugal' starring Vijay Antony and Arun Vijay.

Sources have further stated that Socrates worked as the Co-director of the new movie 'Alavudinum Arputha Cameravum' which is directed by Naveen who also plays the lead. Anandhi is the heroine of the film and during the shooting in various foriegn countries she and Socrates fell in love and then both their parents approved of the match and the wedding happened with their blessings.

A grand wedding reception for Anandhi and Socrates is reportedly planned on February 1st in Chennai when celebrities from both the Tamil and Telugu film industries are expected to attend and bless the couple.
