Veteran actor Ponnambalam has once again been hospitalized due to health complications, and an emotional audio message he released from his hospital bed is now going viral.
Ponnambalam, who previously battled kidney-related issues, had recovered with the support of several film industry personalities. Stars like Kamal Haasan, Sarathkumar, Dhanush, K.S. Ravikumar, Nizhalgal Ravi, Ravi Mohan, and Simbu extended both moral and financial support during his earlier treatments.
However, the actor is now facing a recurrence of kidney-related infections and has recently undergone surgery related to his anus. In a moving audio message shared from the hospital, he said, “I have reached rock bottom financially. I sincerely thank everyone who helped me before. I’m in need again—please pray for me.”
The message has sparked a wave of sympathy and concern from fans and members of the film fraternity, with many expressing hope for his recovery.
