Activist Mugilan’s wife accuses government!

Social and environmental activist Mugilan who has always been a prominent part of most of the protests in Tamil Nadu, has been missing since February 15 and his whereabouts are yet to be found, following which his wife has made accusations against the government and its lack of steps to find him.

Poongodi, Mugilan’s wife said “It has been 4 weeks since my husband Mugilan went missing. He had released a documentary on Sterlite shootings on February 15, and on the same night he went missing, and the Tamil Nadu government has since then been ignorant and has not taken any action to locate him. Now the case has been transferred to CBCID”.

“To pressurize the government to find my husband, I am going to start a movement named “Mugilanai Thedi” to get the attention of the government, and find him. The hearing on the Habeas corpus petition filed to find him comes for hearing now, and I believe in the court” said Poongodi.
