Missing family suspected of crashing into a river

Just a few weeks before, a family perished in a dangerous plunge from an ocean overlook along the Pacific Coast Highway in Northern California. Now in what may appear to be a similar incident, officials are engaged in search for a missing second family (Thottapilly) as well in the same region.

Authorities have stated that a vehicle, possibly a Honda Pilot SUV,fell into Eel river in Mendocino County on Friday. Police also disclosed that was the same area where earlier a family of four vanished during a trip. Pertaining to this, officials have also said that a search will be conducted in the Eel river once the water level drops down.

The disappeared Thottapilly family comprises of Sandeep(42), Soumya(38), Siddhanty (12) and Saachi (9). It is also worth mentioning here that the family of four was reported missing on Sunday by a relative of the family who was expecting them in San Jose.
