Yogi Babu is currently one of the most sought-after stars in Tamil cinema as he is attached to several high-profile projects starring leading superstars. Yogi Babu has already had a few releases this year despite the pandemic playing spoilsport and a few of his ventures premiering on streaming OTT platforms

Yogi Babu, married Manju Bhargavi from Vellore in February 2020 and was blessed with a baby boy in December last year. He conducted a lavish naming ceremony and named the child B. M. Veshagan.

As Veshagan turned one this year the actor gathered his friends from the film fraternity to celebrate the occasion. The celebration was graced by Sivakarthikeyan, actor and MLA Udhayanidhi Stalin, Bigg Boss Varun and many more. The pictures from the event are currently going viral on social media platforms.  

On the professional front, Yogi Babu has a power-packed line-up of films like ‘Thalapathy’ Vijay’s Beast, ‘Thala’ Ajith’s Valimai, Sivakarthikeyan’s Ayalaan, director Sundar. C’s multi-starrer Aranmanai 3, Santhanam’s Dikkiloona and ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi’s Kadaisi Vivasayi to name a notable few. He was last seen in films like Trip, Karthi’s Sulthan, Vanakkam Da Mappillai with GV Prakash this year, and also garnered praise for his performances in Dhanush’s Karnan and Mandela.
