Ever since Bollywood veteran Dilip Kumar, who is 98, was admitted to a private hospital in Mumbai on Sunday, WhatsApp has been abuzz with fake rumorus about his health. The yesteryear superstar was admitted after he developed breathlessness. He has been treated in a non-covid facility. There is no truth in the social media-driven rumour that Dilip Kumar's health has deteriorated.

"Don’t believe in WhatsApp forwards. Saab is stable. Thank you for your heart-felt prayers. As per doctors, he should be home in 2-3 days," the official handle of the veteran today said.

Earlier, updating about his admission, his wife Saira Banu said, 'Dilip Sahab has been admitted to non-Covid PD Hinduja Hospital Khar for routine tests and investigations. He has had episodes of breathlessness. A team of healthcare workers led by Dr. Nitin Gokhale is attending to him. Please keep Sahab in your prayers and please stay safe."
