Jaganmohan Reddy’s comments at the India Today conclave have confused sections of voters. The YSRCP chief has said during a conversation with journalist Rahul Kanwal that he will support any coalition that will give special status to Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, he had no kind words for either BJP or Congress. The latter, he said, is wiped out in AP.
“I am neutral. Our only demand is special category status. As far as I and the people of my State are concerned, we are sick and tired of trusting people. Whoever gives us special status will get the support of my party. Even if Rahul himself becomes the PM, I will not mind supporting him,” Jagan said. Did Jagan just say he will support Rahul? Wait.
There is a twist. He added, “Rahul means yourself (anchor Rahul Kanwal), not that Rahul Gandhi,” Jagan said as the audience burst into laughter.
