Irish production for "Wednesday" Season 2 has begun as Netflix releases the entire cast list for the much awaited show.
Jenna Ortega returns as the beloved Wednesday Addams, joined by newly promoted series regulars Luis Guzman, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Isaac Ordonez, and Luyanda Unati Lewis-Nyawo. Morticia is played by Zeta-Jones, Gomez by Guzman, and Pugsley by Ordonez. Along with Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Hunter Doohan, Victor Dorobantu, Moosa Mostafa, and Georgie Farmer, there are guest appearances by Fred Armisen and Jamie McShane.
The roster includes Percy Hynes White, who played Xavier Thorpe in Season 1. In 2023 Hynes White was accused of sexual assault, which he refuted in the face of what he described as a "campaign of misinformation" on social media.
Season 2 new series regulars include Billie Piper, Evie Templeton, Owen Painter, Noah Taylor, and guest actor Thandiwe Newton in addition to the recently announced Steve Buscemi.
Notable names on the guest star roster include Joanna Lumley, Frances O'Connor, Christopher Lloyd, Heather Matarazzo, Haley Joel Osment, and Joonas Suotamo.
Series creators and showrunners Al Gough and Miles Millar said, "We are thrilled to welcome the entire Addams family back to Nevermore Academy, along with an extraordinary cast of both familiar and new faces."
When "Wednesday" premiered in November 2022, it became an instant Netflix sensation and was nominated for 12 Emmys, winning four. Though industry strikes in 2023 caused delays, Season 2 is presently in production, with Gough, Millar, and Tim Burton heading the creative team.
