Kerala's Wayanad region has been severely affected by floods, resulting in the tragic loss of hundreds of lives and leaving many areas submerged. Thousands of families have been rendered homeless, and life in the region has come to a standstill. The entire area is engulfed in sorrow, with countless victims awaiting help.
In response to this dire situation, the Telugu film industry has once again shown its solidarity. Megastar Chiranjeevi and his son, Ram Charan, have come forward to provide financial support. Chiranjeevi personally traveled to Kerala to stand by the victims and offer his condolences.
Chiranjeevi met with the Chief Minister of Kerala to hand over a cheque of ₹1 crore for the Wayanad flood victims. The film industry was deeply concerned about the havoc caused by the floods, prompting Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan to jointly announce their donation. The Mega family emphasized that their contribution is aimed at boosting the morale of the victims, in addition to providing financial aid.
Chiranjeevi arrived in Trivandrum on a special flight to deliver the aid. He was warmly welcomed by the authorities, and the cheque was presented to the CM of Kerala. The Mega family has indicated their readiness to assist not only financially but also through other means. Meanwhile, a video of Chiranjeevi's visit to Kerala has gone viral on social media.
Despite being busy with the shooting of his upcoming film, "Vishwambhara," Chiranjeevi took the time to help the victims of Kerala. He recently completed shooting the climax scenes of the film.
Chiranjeevi's personal attention to oversee the relief activities even in the busy schedule rather than just wash off his hands just by paying to the CM relief fund speaks volumes of his interest and personal care to ensure that the help will reach the victims at a fast pace.
