Jailer 2: A Pan-India Mega Alliance

Following the blockbuster success of Jailer in 2023, the sequel has now reached its final stages of filming. The hottest topic in cinema circles right now is the inclusion of Bollywood’s “Baadshah,” Shah Rukh Khan, alongside Rajinikanth.

According to leaked reports, Shah Rukh Khan isn’t just making a brief cameo; he is playing a pivotal role that serves as a major turning point in the story.

SRK is expected to appear as a close friend of Rajinikanth’s character (Muthuvel Pandian) and act as his “support system” during a time of crisis.

The production team plans to film SRK’s portions separately. These shoots are likely to take place soon in either Mumbai or Chennai.

Filming is currently moving at a brisk pace in Mumbai. Previously, high-octane action sequences were shot at locations like the Athirappilly Waterfalls in Kochi, Kerala. Current scenes are reportedly focusing on Muthuvel Pandian’s family and his confrontation with new enemies.
