One of the most expected movies of the year, the Hollywood flick Avengers End Game directed by Joe and Anthony Russo and starring an ensemble cast including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Joahnsson, Brie Larson and many others released today in India.
Following the huge hype and craze for this film from Marvel Studios and this being the final part of the Avengers franchise, there were special early morning shows organized all over the state by different theaters as early as 4 AM and 5 AM, and one of the theater owners had tweeted that the theater management will be stricter this time on people who capture videos or click photos when Avengers Endgame is playing, and requested to watch and enjoy the movie rather than posting on social media.
In response to this tweet, Actor and TFPC president Vishal had tweeted that this is a good thing, but just like following this practice for a Hollywood movie that releases once in a year, the same can be practiced for Tamil movies releasing every week. The theater owner had later responded that they don't have any regional or linguistic bias in films, and they are always against piracy.
Huh??? Well well well. Finally. I would expect this for Tamil movies which flow in week afta week than English films that come in once a year.
