Longtime buddies Vishal and Jayam Ravi will in all probability give a tough fight to each other at the box office on Pongal day when the formers Kathakali` and the latters Miruthan` are hitting the screens.

The latest development is that Aascar Films have announced the release of their long pending Jayam Ravi-Trisha starrer Boologam` on the 24th of December and we also hear that Vishal is also pulling all the strings to ensure the release of his own much delayed Madha Gaja Raja` costarring Santhanam, Anjali and Varalakshmi Sarathkumar on the same date.
