Rakshan is a famous television presenter working for Star Vijay channel in the Tamil space. He is well known for playing Dulquer Salman's friend in the 2020 film, 'Kannum Kannum Kollai Adithal'. Now, he is playing the lead role in a new film, which was officially announced today with a motion poster.

Rakshan's new film is titled 'Marakkuma Nenjam', directed by Raako.Yoagandran. According to the motion poster, we can assume that the movie is going to be a feel-good school drama set in the 90s. Filia Entertainment and Kuviyam Media have jointly bankrolled this venture. Sachin Warrier's music adds more heart to the warming nostalgic motion poster.

Marakkuma Nenjam stars Rakshan, Dheena, Malina, Prankster Rahul, Swetha Venugopal, Ashika Kader, Melvin Dennis, Dhrona, Natalie Lourds, Visvath Vaathul, Munishkanth, Akila, Arun Kurien and others. The technical team also comprises Gopi Duraisamy as the DOP, Shashank Mali as the editor and Prem Karunthamalai as the art director.
