The movie is expected to surpass the 100-crore mark by next week, potentially becoming the first 100-crore film in Vijay Sethupathi's career as a solo hero.

"Maharaja" directed by Nithilan Swaminathan revolves around the mystery behind a saloon owner. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi, Anurag Kashyap, Sachana Namidass, Mamta Mohandas, Natarajan Subramaniam, Abhirami, Aruldoss, Munishkanth, Manikandan, Singampuli, Bharathiraja and others. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the musical score for the film.
