A week and a few days before the release of the film, the makers of Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum` aka Ka Ka Ka Po` have revealed about the genre, content and Unique Selling Points of the film.

As it is being widely speculated the film comes under the genre of romantic comedy. This film would be completely loyal to the duality of the genre that is the film will have share of romance and comedy throughout the film unlike while most of the films come under the romantic-comedy tag have had the dominance of either of the two.

Directed by Nalan Kumarasamy the story of this film will be in the opposite direction of his debut film Soodhu Kavvum`. This will not have any form of resemblance to the 2013 super hit cult comedy.

Actor G.M.Sundar who acted in Kamal Haasan`s yesteryear super hit action flick Sathya` has acted as a local Councilor in the film. Vijay Sethupathi comes as the gangster aiding him. Madonna Sebastian was cast in this film after she completed shooting for the blockbuster Malayalam romance flick Premam`. She has given a brilliant performance and even Vijay Sethupathi could not resist exclaiming about her performance during the shoot. Samuthirakani has acted as a police officer and he is the villain of the film. D.R.K.Kiran, Venkatesh, Ridnhu Ravi and Manikanadan have acted in supporting roles.

70-80% of the film will have the hero and heroine. The crux of the film itself is how the friendship develops between the hero and heroine. In many film the friendship or love between the lead pair will start instantly. But in this film, the various stages of development of this film have been depicted. The film will end when this friendship elevates as love. The comic touch has also been retained throughout.

The film includes two songs and two fight scenes. One stunt scene has been shot in a single shot and this has been choreographed by Hari-Dinesh duo of stunt masters.

Nalan Kumarasamy has said that the film will induce youngsters to take love and life lightly.

Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum` has been produced by C.V.Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainments` and K.E.Gnanavelraja of Studio Green` banners. The film has been written by Nalan Kumarasamy adapting a Korean film My Dear Desperado`. Santosh Narayan has scored the music and the songs that have released are already topping the charts. Cinematography has been done by Dinesh Krishnan.B and Editing is by Leo John Paul. Vijay Adhinathan has taken care of Art Direction.

Kadhalum Kadandhu Pogum` is all set to hit the screens on February 12, 2016 to cash in on the Valentine`s Day weekend.
