Vijay Sethupathi is one of the most sought-after heroes of the Indian film industry. Recently, his Hindi web series 'Farzi' co-starring Shahid Kapoor became a huge hit. Now, the hot news is that Makkal Selvan has started his first direct Tamil web series for which he teamed up with a National Award-winner.

Vijay Sethupathi and director Manikandan of 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' fame have joined hands for a drama series created by Disney Plus Hotstar. The new Hotstar Specials show began with a puja yesterday in Usilampatti. It is worth mentioning that Vijay Sethupathi and Manikandan have already worked together in the evergreen film, 'Aandavan Kattalai', in 2016.

The untitled project is produced by P Arumugakumar under the banner 7C’s Entertainment Pvt Ltd. The technical team includes Rajesh Murugesan as the music composer, Shanmugasundaram as the DOP, B Ajith Kumar as the editor and Immanuel Jackson as the art director with a sound design by Ajayan K Adat and costumes by Kavitha.
