The shooting of 'Thalapathy 61' the prestigious 100th project of Thenandal Studios Limited has been progressing at a rapid pace. In the first three schedules happened in Chennai and Rajasthan, the sequences of Ilayathalapathy Vijay and Nithya Menen were shot.

The crew headed by director Atlee then moved to Europe for the fourth schedule and the scenes involving Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal have been shot in this schedule. Today (May 29th) the lengthy European schedule which lasted for around a month, has been wrapped up and the makers will be heading to Chennai to start the next schedule which will commence in the first week of June 2017.

Samantha is expected to join the 'Thalapathy 61' crew in the upcoming Chennai schedule. @

It is to be noted that Vijay plays triple roles for the first time in this film which will have the music score of A.R.Rahman.
