Re-Release of Bagavathi Joins the Cinematic Rerun Trend

The Vijay-starrer film ‘Bagavathi’ is set for a re-release. On March 21, the popular Arya movie ‘Boss (a) Baskaran’ is hitting theaters again, and now ‘Bagavathi’ is releasing alongside it.

Originally released in 2002, ‘Bagavathi’ starred Vijay and was well received. The movie was directed by Venkatesh and produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers. The cast included Jai, Reema Sen, Vadivelu, and Ashish Vidyarthi, among others.

The film’s music was composed by Deva, and the songs became quite popular. Additionally, the comedy scenes were highly appreciated. However, in terms of box office collection, ‘Bagavathi’ did not perform as expected. Notably, it was one of the most expensive Vijay films at that time.
