Vetrimaaran shares hot updates on ‘Vada Chennai 2’ and ‘Vaadivasal’ at ‘Viduthalai’ event!

One of the most sought-after filmmakers in the country, Vetrimaaran, is currently working on Soori and Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Viduthalai’. He made the highly acclaimed film ‘Vada Chennai’ with Dhanush in 2018 and it was supposed to have a sequel. Vetri also has Suriya starrer ‘Vaadivasal’ in his pipeline. 

The fans have been long waiting for updates on the long pending ‘Vada Chennai 2’ and ‘Vaadivasal’. Meanwhile, the grand audio and trailer launch of Viduthalai took place in Chennai with the presence of the cast and crew. Talking at the event, Vetrimaaran shared the much-awaited Vada Chennai 2 and Vaadivasal updates with the fans. 

Vetrimaaran said that Viduthalai will be released in two parts and will be followed by Vaadivasal. He added that he will start working on Vada Chennai 2 as soon as he completes Vaadivasal. Vetri also confirmed that Viduthalai part 1 will hit the screens at March end while Viduthalai 2 will come to cinemas in the second half of this year. 

Viduthalai is jointly produced by RS Infotainment and Grassroot Film Company. It stars Soori, Vijay Sethupathi, Bhavani Sre, Prakash Raj, Gautham Menon, Chethan and many others. The technical team includes Ilaiyaraaja as the music director, Velraj as the cinematographer and Ramar as the editor.
