Vetrimaaran’s pan Indian biggie with two mega heroes after ‘Vaadivasal’ – DEETS

Vetrimaaran, one of the highest rated filmmakers in the country is currently busy with the postproduction work of his two part film ‘Viduthalai’ starring Soori and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles.  Later this year he is expected to start shooting his magnum opus ‘Vaasivaasal’ starring Suriya in the lead with music by GVP and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu. 

The news has broken out that Vetrimaaran is planning another two part pan Indian film that will go on floors after ‘Vaadivaasal’.  The film is said to have in the main lead Tollywood superstar Junior NTR who is right now knocking at the Oscars 2023 in the Best Actor category for the worldwide blockbuster ‘RRR’ directed by S.S. Rajamouli.

It is said that Vetrimaaran narrated three scripts to Junior NTR who wanted to work with him for a very long time.  The duo have reportedly met and discussed a few times and finalized one of the scripts which will be made in two parts and bankrolled by a top Tollywood production house.

The highlight is National Award winner Dhanush will also appear as a parallel lead in the second part of the as yet untitled project according to reports.  The Dhanush-Vetrimaaran combo is one of the most adored by fans and the prospect of seeing them together after a short break will sure light up the internet.  The official confirmation on this one is expected in the coming months.  Stay tuned.
