Veteran Tamil Actor Delhi Ganesh Passes Away

In a shocking development, we learned the passing away of Tamil actor Delhi Ganesh. The veteran 80-year-old actor has been suffering from ill health for quite some time now and has passed away last night. Acting in hundreds of films over multiple decades, Delhi Ganesh leaves a legacy behind.

Born in 1944, Ganesh served in the Air Force in Delhi for more than 10 years. He also worked there during the Indo-China War in 1965, which is why he got the name Delhi Ganesh.

He has been acting in Tamil cinema since the 1970s. His debut film was Pattinapravesam, directed by K. Balachander in 1976. He has also acted in many roles, such as comedy, character, and villain. The actor has acted more in Kamal Haasan’s films. Naayagan, Apoorva Sodarulu, Michael Madana Kamarajan, Denali, Auvai Sanmukhi, Papanasam and acted many more.

He is one of Kamal’s favorite actors. He has acted in many films with young actors, from Vijay, Ajith, and Suriya to Sivakarthikeyan. Many of his scenes have been converted into memes by the latest generation, who also celebrate him on social media every day.

He received many awards, including the Kalaimamani, and his sudden death has left the film industry in a state of sadness.
