Venu Sriram, the director of Pawan Kalyan's 'Vakeel Saab', has revealed some interesting details about the movie.
Speaking to a TV channel, the 'MCA' director said that the courtroom drama has got five songs in total (music is by SS Thaman). "After the First Look was unveiled, some women I know expressed the fear that the film might sideline women and that it could be all about Pawan Kalyan. The song 'Maguva Maguva' was an answer to that criticism," Venu said.
Some changes have been made to the Amitabh Bachchan original keeping Power Star's image in mind. "A few fans of Pawan garu have asked me whether 'Vakeel Saab' will be much like the Tamil remake of 'Pink'. This story constrains us from infusing things like an item song. The subject is about women. Within the constraints, we have made suitable changes keeping in mind Pawan Kalyan garu's image. His entry in the film will be a bit late but it will be great," Venu added.
What about Allu Arjun's ICON', which Venu was supposed to direct in 2019? "After 'Vakeel Saab' came my way, we decided to defer it to a future date," he said.
