Venkatesh’s 77th Film with Trivikram Srinivas Begins Shooting

The much-awaited collaboration between director Trivikram Srinivas and Venkatesh Daggubati has officially gone on floors today, marking the commencement of principal photography. The project, fondly referred to as #Venky77, is Venkatesh’s 77th film in his illustrious career spanning over three decades.

After nearly two years away from film sets, Trivikram is finally back in action. The acclaimed filmmaker was earlier expected to team up with Allu Arjun for a film that didn’t take off. Now, before he begins his ambitious mythological project with Jr NTR in 2026, Trivikram is focusing his creative energies on this family entertainer with Venkatesh.

Backed by S. Radha Krishna under the prestigious Haarika & Hassine Creations banner, the film was officially launched in August and completed its pre-production in September.

Touted to be a complete family entertainer, the film is expected to blend humor, emotions, and action with Trivikram’s signature sharp dialogues and engaging storytelling. Reports suggest that Srinidhi Shetty will play the female lead opposite Venkatesh.

Co-producer Naga Vamsi shared the exciting update on social media, expressing his delight at seeing Trivikram return to the sets after a 20-month break. Fans are now eagerly awaiting more updates on this promising project that brings together two powerhouses of Telugu cinema.
